Being pregnant or thinking about having a baby while living in a new country can be an exciting and bewildering experience for internationals. As a newcomer, you may not yet have much of a support network to turn to for guidance.
Connect International is here to help support you in this process by providing practical information for new and soon-to-be parents - not just with the logistics, but equally importantly with the emotional and physical well-being of parents and their baby - in the Netherlands.
Join us in this webinar from 11:00 to 12:30 for a session all about giving birth in the Netherlands!
Cultural, social and medical standards for pregnancy, birth and post-partum care in the Netherlands may be very different from your home country. Our featured speaker is Juliana Sierra, a doula (including post-partum care), lactation consultant and psychologist for positive birth with more than 10 years of experience. Juliana will share her expertise and explain how the Dutch maternity care system works, what to expect from it, what options are out there, and other sources of information to help you along the way, followed by a question and answer session.
We look forward to meeting all the (future) parents there! We encoruage you to share this event with other internationals who would also like to learn more about this interesting and important topic!
