Being pregnant or thinking about having a baby when you are living in a new country might be an unknown and exciting experience for international couples, as many things may be different from your homeland, in addition to the fact that you probably don't have yet a large support network.

Connect International can guide you in this process by providing practical information and suggestions of support that new parents may need (not only logistically but also emotional care and wellbeing of parents and baby). In this meeting, our invited consultant, Juliana Sierra, (https://julianasierra.com) who is a Doula, lactation consultant and psychologist for positive birth and post-partum with 10+ years of experience, will share her expertise: how the Dutch maternity care system works, what to expect from it, which options do you have, plus extra sources of information.

There will also be a question and answer session.

Please take into account:

Registration before each event is required. We invite you to do it via the Member and Non-Member options.
Registration closes 24 hours before each event. (Please note that some events have a limit of attendees, so we invite you to register with enough time in advance).
One or two days before the event you will receive an email with relevant information about the activity. (Remember to check your spam folder). If you have not received it after registration closes, please write an email to events@connect-int.org
If you wish to cancel your participation, please let us know, especially if the event has a limited number of attendees, as you may give the opportunity to someone else to attend. You can cancel your registration through the registrations link, send an email to events@connect-int.org, or write a WhatsApp to the event coordinators (mentioned in the information email).
