Being pregnant or thinking about having a baby when you are living in a new country might be an unknown and exciting experience for international couples, as many things may be different from your homeland, in addition to the fact that you probably don't have yet a large support network.
Connect International can guide you in this process by providing practical information and suggestions of support that new parents may need (not only logistically but also emotional care and wellbeing of parents and baby). In this meeting, our invited consultant, Juliana Sierra, (https://julianasierra.com) who is a Doula, lactation consultant and psychologist for positive birth and post-partum with 10+ years of experience, will share her expertise: how the Dutch maternity care system works, what to expect from it, which options do you have, plus extra sources of information. There will also be a question and answer session.
