Primary Education & Secondary Education School Holidays

Below are the standard Primary Education & Secondary Education School Holidays. Some schools do run different vacation times, so be sure to double check with your school for exact dates.

North Netherlands: 10 July 2021 – 22 August 2021, Week 28-33
Mid-Netherlands: 17 July 2021 – 29 August 2021, Week 29-34
South Netherlands: 24 July 2021 – 5 September 2021, Week 30-35

Bouwvak

Bouwvak‘ is an unofficial fixed period of three weeks in the summer during which construction companies reduce or stop their construction production so that construction staff can take (construction) holidays.

North Netherlands: 24 July 2021 – 14 August 2021, Week 30-32
Mid-Netherlands: 31 July 2021 – 21 August 2021, Week 31-33
South Netherlands: 7 August 2021 – 28 August 2021, Week 32-34
