Welcomes you to the Northern Netherlands

CONNECT INTERNATIONAL serves the international community in the Northern Netherlands and in 2023, to celebrate our 25-year anniversary, we have merged together with International Welcome Center North and City Central!
The new organization, INTERNATIONAL WELCOME CENTER NORTH, continues our ultimate goal of helping internationals who come to live in the provinces of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe to feel at home as quickly as possible.
To reach this goal we focus on the following services and activities:

• We organize events in English where expats can meet each other and get first-hand information about life in the Netherlands.

• We offer personal advice and practical information to help newly arrived expats to navigate through complex matters of settling, living and working in the Netherlands.

• We educate Dutch companies and their international staff about intercultural differences they might encounter on the work floor and in daily life.

• We inform our members about the most important and interesting happenings in the region to empower them with knowledge, even if they do not speak Dutch (yet).

• And we are always ready to answer your questions, to help solve your issues, to listen to your ideas and concerns and to support your new beginnings - in person during our regular open office hours, or via telephone or e-mail.

International Welcome Center North is now the tradename of Stichting Connect International, registered in the Netherlands under the Chamber of Commerce (KvK), number 02064544.
